All of these things are stories. We don’t have to accept the version of reality the narrator is telling, especially if it’s disempowering and prevents us from. What is the story you’re telling yourself today about your circumstances, the world, your life?

You don’t need to be the hero of the story you’re telling yourself when you know the god who created the whole universe, who defeated giants and shut the mouths of lions, and who reminds us in ephesians 3:20 that he can do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. What’s more, you further interpret your life in a way that fits into this story. Once you drop the story, and locate yourself in reality, you can pick up whatever problem you are facing and deal with it one moment at a time.

But my body and mind did not seem ready to move. You do it too, whether you’re aware of it or not. I convinced myself to peel my body out of bed and i walked slowly to the kitchen so i could make coffee.
